Ceramicore™ Frequently Asked Questions

Is the ceramic material really non-stick?

CeramiCore™ is REALLY non-stick, it does not require additional oils, butter or margarine in order to maintain the non-stick properties, you are free to use them according to the taste preferences of you and your family.

How long is CeramiCore™ cookware going to last?

Our pots and pans are made to last a lifetime. When you order CeramiCore™, you are getting a top quality product that will last you the rest of your life.

Will the handles be hot when I cook, like with cast iron pots?

The ever-cool handle on CeramiCore™ keeps the heat in the pan and NOT in your hand!

What material is used to make CeramiCore™?

CeramiCore™ has a solid Ceramic coating on an aluminum base so it retains the heat. Your CeramiCore™ pots and pan(s) won't scratch, chip, dent burn or flake.

What makes CeramiCore™ different then other non-stick coatings that contain PFOA-PTFE and how are those coatings harmful to me?

CeramiCore™ is different because it uses a ceramic coating in place of PTFE, a chemical found in certain non-stick coatings. PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic acid) is a chemical that is used in the manufacturing of traditional PTFE-based non-stick cookware coatings and other products.

My pan is not the same color as when I first purchased it. Is this normal?

Discoloration and small surface markings may appear with use over time. This will not affect the quality or performance of the cookware.

What types of utensils can I use with CeramiCore™?

You can use ANY utensil when cooking with CeramiCore™ - for optimal performance we encourage the use of the wooden materials or silicone coated cooking pieces, we advise against using steel wool or other abrasive metal materials. Never attempt to cut foods while they are in the pan. Any misuse will void the warranty.

Is CeramiCore™ dishwasher safe?

We advise that CeramiCore™ cookware be hand-washed only. Most dishwasher detergents can damage the surface. Use warm soapy water with a soft sponge or dishcloth to clean, then rinse and dry. You can also simply wipe with a damp paper towel.
